Visit the Spoked Wheel BuilderAfter studying the problem of broken spokes, Woody found that it would be possible to strengthen the structure of the wheel by altering the lace pattern so that each spoke is routed as closely as possible to a 90 degree angle between the hub and rim. Dubbed SUPERLACING, this process allows for the most direct transfer of energy through the spoke to the hub and rim. Since this method requires drilling the rim holes to point in a new direction, Woody decided to add to the strength factor by drilling and countersinking the rim to allow for oversized spokes and nipples. Called SUPERSIZING, this process spreads the workload over a larger surface area under the nipple, and allows us to torque the spokes tighter than what is possible with OEM spokes and nipples. The Superlaced net result is a stronger, more durable wheel that will take a beating off-road and keep on rolling!

Superlite Wheels are, on average, 5lbs lighter in the front and 4lbs lighter in the rear!
